I’m chasing after Heroes, and am in season 3 episode 9 currently. And I must say something.

The series is just plain lame.

The “good” guys are plain incompetent, and the “bad” guys are just plain ignorant. So far there isn’t any memorable heroes or villians yet, and that is… lame. I mean, COME ON. Peter losing his powers? OK I’m fine with that. Let’s see how he gets back his power. But he wants Claire to… stay innocent? L.A.M.E. And Claire’s plan? Jump out of the window. How original.

And what’s this about Hiro getting turned into a retarded 10 year old? He had the power of time on his hands. A simple blink to stop time would suffice. And don’t tell me about him having bad reflexes. He was the one who stabbed the faster-than-bullet Sylar, right?

And then there’s Elle. The only one who’s acting actually was good. And then you have Matt, who is easily one of the best in the series. But then they had to fuck up the whole series by putting them on the sidelines. Elle’s subplot with Sylar? That was lame with a fucking capital L. And then Elle taking it out on Sylar by frying him? And Sylar saying “I won’t say sorry because it’ll be an insult yada yada”? Oh. My. God. How retarded can the storyline be?

You need an epic suspense of intelligence to actually enjoy this show.
