I made the right decision.

Johnnie Walker Swing is the best blended scotch I’ve tasted so far, reigning high over the crappy rest like the Black Labels, Chivas (12 and 18 years), Jack Daniels and the awful VAT 69. Heck, I even think it’s better than the Gold Label but that might be my bias speaking.

From the moment I smelled the whiskey I knew it was good stuff. There was no “bite” in the smell - rather, a mixture of honey and oak was what I got and the strength of it was strong but not that overwhelmingly so.

I took a sip, and by the invisible pink unicorn, I was surprised that it went down so smoothly! The taste was pristine - the usual you get from top quality whiskey at a fraction of the price. At RM144, it was a great bargain.

I’m definately a Johnnie Walker fan from now on.
