Ruben Tan has severe brain damage after constantly hitting himself whenever he faces problems in his programming projects, and thus have a weird outlook on life which prevents him from being trapped in the surface of lies.

Yay! Project “platform”, for the uninitiated, is a PHP framework that I’m developing and after 3 weeks of research and trial-and-error, I’ve finally hit the first milestone!

Okay I know it’s not much, just a “hello world”, but this means the Router is DONE. Yes, that means more than 40% of the system is done! Now what’s left is an encrypted session service, database connectors, a template engine and a full blown state engine.

Happy coding!

  3. Why bother writing a new framework dude?

    Ivan

  4. Two reasons:
1 - none of the other frameworks other than zend can satisfy my ideal definition of a framework

2 - zend is too loaded and only a few components useful for my purposes

So taking these 2 into consideration, i decided to roll my own framework based off zend components.
